Meet the Teaching Team: Aaron & Christine

Aaron Lind

Aaron is the founder and director of LIFT School of Acrobatics. He is a renowned teacher of partner acrobatics and an advocate for empowerment through play. He is a trained and professional teacher, holding 2 certifications from AcroYoga, training time spent with Dutch acrobatics teachers and circus coaches, as well as multiple yoga certifications. Aaron is also a founding member of Acro Revolution teacher training. He has been fascinated by movement-based practices since childhood, which led to many thousands of hours of playful explorations in many physical disciplines. He is also a musician, holding an MFA in Jazz Studies and a burlesque artist trained in the New Orleans tradition. He brings a creative flair to his offerings and invites students to cultivate performance as a natural extension of a skill-based practice.

Aaron brings all of his artistic talents into his teaching. His classes are inclusive, playful, and fun, while remaining grounded in practical and well-tested training methodology. His ability to articulate sophisticated movements in anatomical and action-oriented language creates a powerful learning environment for students to access deeper levels of refined embodiment. Aaron’s intention for teaching is to cultivate empowerment, confidence, and artistic expression in the dedicated student! What he loves about teaching is seeing students exceed their own expectations!

Christine Moonbeam

Christine Moonbeam is a lead teacher and facilitator at LIFT School of Acrobatics. She is a RYT 200 with a Bachelors Degree in Dance. She grew up studying dance and tumbling in a tiny town in rural Iowa where her love of movement and the arts were fostered.

She started working with Zip Zap Social Circus in 2010, a program that empowers youth to dare to dream by bringing the magic of circus arts to children in inner city schools in Washington D.C. Christine was first introduced to partner acrobatics while working with Zip Zap Circus and it was here that her passion for acro started to take flight! She has been studying partner acrobatics and handstands ever since with Dutch teachers and circus coaches in the US and Europe.

Her years of training have given her a well developed eye for alignment and movement, and her ability to give skillful and compassionate feedback leads to student success. She is an advocate of acro as an artistic co-creation that develops practitioners through healthy relationship and dedication to empowering each other in their role. Christine believes partner acrobatics is a powerful tool for self-discovery and personal growth through creative play. She can’t wait to share her passion for this practice with you!
